The upcoming launch of the MacBook Pro by Apple is expected to bring in quite a number of new steps forward technology-wise. This will bring most of the macOS laptop’s hardware up to par with the Windows 10-powered competitors.
Question is, is Apple holding back on some secret innovations that are the actual big news for 2022 and beyond?
Remember that the main news in relation to the expected launch in November is about Apple’s updated M1X system on chip, as well as the vivid miniLED brighter display, and the redesigned laptop that comes with more wedge shape to the MacBook Pro.
While these features may be the talk of the day, and that they are certainly new to the macOS arena, are they really new? Or is Apple simply playing catch up with the competition?
MiniLED laptops, for instance, have been around since the beginning of 2020. Again, there is no scarcity of manufacturers for the countless laptop designs that may be needed for every need. Are we seeing the actual picture from Apple?
Of course, Apple has an edge with its system on chip and the tight Apple OS and apps integration which Windows cannot contend with.
But it seems Apple is certainly planning a radical laptop design future to go with its advanced silicon, taking Apple’s laptops out of the rut that they seem to be stuck in.
