A new leak seems to suggest that a portable alchemy could be in the offing soon.
This leak showed an unidentified Intel Xe graphics card that looks like a laptop version of Intel’s Alchemist discreet graphics processing unit.
This might be an indication that we may, as soon as next year, see an awesome flagship solution for gaming notebooks.
This new hint was spotted on a tweet via Benchleaks, a source which, though not fully reliable, has previously leaked credible hints.
The GPU that runs in a Tiger Lake laptop was only named as an Intel Xe discrete graphics card. However, it had 512 EUs. This means that it is certainly not a current Xe laptop card.
The EU count corresponds with Alchemist with the other configurations matching the incoming Arc gaming GPUs. The possible result from this is a powerful portable gaming laptop like we have not seen before.
If this will be the case, this new development will mean some great news for gaming on the go. We could soon see some serious power in new gaming laptops. But all said, we can only wait and see.
In the meantime, take a look at these powerful gaming laptops for 2021.
