Razer’s First AMD Gaming Laptop: Here’s All You Need to Know About the Latest Beast in Town

Razer launched some of its new laptops recently including their much-awaited AMD gaming laptop. So what’s different about?

Well, the hype around it is because it is the first ever AMD laptop launched by Razer. It is known as the AMD Razer 14 and is equipped with the all-new AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor.

Furthermore, ensuring you can run any and every game lag-free while getting eye-catching graphics that makes games so attractive is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop.

And you won’t even have to worry about blurring or ghosting since its 14-inch Full-HD is well supported by the 165Hz refresh rate. The quality of the display also makes it the ideal laptop to enjoy movies on.

Also, adding to the look and feel of the gaming laptop is the Razer Chroma RGB backlighting.

But with all that power will the laptop turn into a frying pan? Ensuring that doesn’t happen are two fans that have a whopping 88 blades. Run the laptop for as long as you want, expect it to stay cool as a cucumber.

In the words of their cofounder, chairman, and CEO, Min-Liang Tan, it is the most powerful 14-inch laptop on the block and we have no reason to believe otherwise seeing the specs.

While powerful, the laptop still manages to remain thin and light. Believe it or not, it is just 0.1 millimeters thick so you should have no trouble carrying it to places as well.

Razer has been performing well in the last few years with gamers all around the world loving the new thin, powerful, and sleek laptops. Don’t take our word for it. The numbers say so as well.

The laptop wasn’t the only thing we heard about from Razer at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). They also launched a new charger that. This is a gallium nitride or GaN-based charger rather than regular silicon-based chargers.

According to the CEO, the charger provides around 130 watts of power so charging your laptops and smartphones should be quick. Plus, it is compact enough to fit in your pocket making it easy to carry anywhere and everywhere.

As per reports, Razer hit the $1.2 billion mark in revenues in 2020. This is an amazing 47% increase from 2019. Oh, and they plan to go eco-friendly as well.

Yes, Razer also announced that they plan to turn into a carbon-neutral sustainable brand.

Razer hasn’t just excelled at laptops. They have also played their part in tackling covid-19. Their gamer-centric named project Hazel looks like a thing of beauty. Not just that, it is functional as well.

There are two filters on the sides while the plastic in the center allows you to see when people are talking and vice versa. If you want to grab one of these, you’ll have to wait till the 4th quarter.
