Deal of the Month: Surface Laptop Go with i5 and 256GB storage Available At $200 OFF

If you are looking for a powerful yet pocket-friendly laptop that won’t burn a hole in your pocket for professional needs then Surface Laptop Go is great choice.

While there was an i5 variant with 128GB storage that was available for less than $650, 128GB is never enough storage in a laptop.

But there’s good news. The 256GB variant is now available at a massive discount of $200 which means you can grab it for around $700. As mentioned above, supporting this storage is the powerful i5 processor that clocks at 3.6GHz.

Add to this the 8GB RAM and the laptop can easily run professional software like QuickBooks, FL Studio, etc. You also get an excellent 12.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1536×1024. It isn’t Full-HD which means watching movies or playing games isn’t as captivating but for working, it is perfectly clear and vibrant.

Apart from that, the laptop is also equipped with USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a headphone jack, and Windows Hello support. In case you didn’t know, this makes it easy to sign in to your laptop as you can do with your webcam.

The one thing we weren’t too excited about was the fact that the RAM couldn’t be expanded as it has been soldered to the motherboard.

Furthermore, the laptop also features the Windows S mode. This is both a drawbacks and an advantage. While the S Mode does allow you to run programs available on the Microsoft Store using lesser resources like battery, RAM, etc. it doesn’t support a lot of the apps.

This makes it less useful. Thankfully, you can turn it off when not needed.

All in all, the laptop does have its share of cons but considering the discount, it is worth checking out especially if you need a mid-range laptop for office use, Photoshop, etc.
