Number of Cores and Threads

Next up, you want to take into account the number of threads and cores. The more cores your laptop has the faster will be the processing. So if you want to perform hyperparameter, it would take lesser time on a Hexa-core processor than a quad-core processor.

Cores are even more important if you are getting a laptop with an integrated graphics card. 4 cores with 8 threads is the minimum recommendation for data analysis but if you are ready to pay the big bucks, 8 cores with 12 threads or 8-cores with 16 threads is a no-brainer.
