Detailed Reviews of Laptops for Fortnite and PUBG

#1: Acer Predator Triton 700

Whether you are a hobbyist or want to turn pro and start your own live streaming, this is the laptop you NEED and here’s why we believe so.

Acer Predator Triton 700

It’s Best Features

You want a laptop that guarantees you smooth, lag-free gaming for hours on the best possible settings, right? Guess what, the Triton 700 delivers just that.

But how?

First and foremost, it is the 7th Gen i7-7700HQ Processor with a clock speed of up to 3.8GHz. Team that up with a 32GB RAM (oh yes, I did say 32GB) and you have a laptop that can handle pretty much anything and everything you throw at it.

Another factor important to seamless gaming is the graphics card.

Equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 that features an 8GB Dedicated RAM, this laptop can run more than just Fortnite (FIFA 19, GTA V, Hitman, etc. there’s no stopping you now).

Furthermore, these features make streaming games even for hours together, a breeze.

Storage

In a laptop, the disk does not just determine the space you have to store all your profiles, skins, settings, etc. but also boost performance.

Yup, for those who do not know, an SSD laptop can give you 17 times the performance of an HDD. The problem? They are often low on space.

But not with the Triton.

The 512GB SSD guarantees you both faster boot, loading, etc. while giving you ample space to store more than just your gaming settings.

Display and Refresh Rate

If you like playing your games on a large, sexy display the Triton 700 does not disappoint. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full-HD Display with brightness and colors that bring the games to life and make it more immersive than be ever before.

But more importantly, it has a good refresh rate of 120GHz. This works in combination with the G Sync technology ensuring minimal screen tearing or stutter (getting those headshots is about to get a whole lot easier).

Cooling

With all that power and long hours of gaming, if there is one thing any laptop runs the risk of in turning into a frying pan, right? Not the Triton though.

The laptop has dual metallic Aeroblade 3D Fans that come with 5 copper heat pipes to maximize airflow and keep your rig cool as a cucumber even under the most intense of pressure.

Audio and Keyboard

Don’t have gaming headphones? Guess what, you don’t need them either. With 3D Dolby Atmos sound, the laptop delivers an immersive sound with crystal clear audio perfect for both gaming and movies.

In case you intend on gaming in the dark, the RGB backlit Keyboard is just what you need.

And if you happen to get bored with the single colored keyboard, you will be happy to know, these keys can be individually programmed.

This not only creates a visual appeal but also helps you quickly identify the most important buttons in the heat of the button.

Another awesome feature that gives you complete control over not just the lighting but also the fan speed, overclocking, etc. is the PredatorSense technology.

Overview

  • Screen Size:15.6-inches Full HD
  • Storage: 512GB SSD.
  • RAM: 32GB RAM

  • Clock Speed: Boosts up to 3.8GHz
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB Dedicated)
  • Refresh Rate: 120GHz
  • Weight: 5.4lbs

The Downsides

While the 120GHz refresh rate in higher than most regular laptops, for the price range 144GHz would have been perfect.

Also, the battery of the laptop lasts only for 4-5 hours with intense use which means you might have to charge it constantly.

Lastly, it is on the expensive side but with that kind of RAM, Processor, cooling, etc. for any serious game, it is well worth every penny.

Pros:
  • The 7th Gen i7-7700HQ has an excellent clock speed at 3.8GHz
