The purpose of this article is to show you some guidelines you can follow to check if your system meets the minimum requirements of PUBG.

PUBG Game Overview

Playersunknown Battleground (also called PUBG), one of the well-known games that released at the beginning of 2018. It’s no game like PUBG, because it has also been preceded by many games such as the famous games of H1Z1, DayZ, and others.

PVP game in the style of “Battle Royale”, 100 people dropped onto an island, they have to survive the next 100 minutes as much as possible in the island. To survive, each player will fight with each other for food, weapons, and other items.

In this game, the system is not that complicated. Every time you eliminate an opponent your level will increase. Your level is related to your equipment and health status. The maximum level you can reach is 99. The higher your level, the more advanced equipment will have better functions.

PUBG is a very simple game but also quite difficult to play well. On the other hand, many players can not play this game because of the Computer that has a poor configuration which is less able to run PUBG smoothly. The following article is about the minimum configuration needed to run it.

These specs are for those who want to enjoy the game at high quality without compromising the visuals.

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Processor (or equivalent)

When it comes to the CPU, Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5. This is exactly what the best laptops for PUBG and Fortnite come with as it gives you ample power to run other games and programs as well. You won’t have to close down other programs either to run the game smoothly making the usage hassle-free.

But if you’re planning to do live streaming, it would be advisable to add more cores. Dual-core CPUs such as Pentium or Celeron aren’t ideal.

Can PUBG run on 1GB RAM?

No, PUBG can not run on 1GB RAM. PUBG requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM and at least 4 GB more to consider and run it smoothly.

What’s the Best CPU to play PUBG?

The CPU with the best performance is the Core i5-8400. It has 6 cores, which should be enough even for streaming or recording game videos in 4K quality without losing its speed. But if you are on a tight budget, an i3 meets the minimum system requirements for PUBG.

To summarize, even if you do not have the best gaming PC, you still can play PUBG. But if you want to enjoy the game at high quality with a higher FPS, then I recommend using the latest version of Windows 10 OS and the latest Intel or AMD CPU.
